Learning and Development - TrainingWe are a Group that has a number of pioneering
credits to its name – HD DVDs and blu laser disc
standards being the more recent successes that we
have had on a global scale. We now intend to create
history in the fast-emerging field of solar energy
and Photovoltaics. Being at the cutting edge and
having created international standards, we would
know these technologies inside out. Thus, we believe
comprehensive and high quality training is critical
to maintaining our leadership status. On a
continuous basis, our people undergo a series of
training programs that encompass technical and
functional training, behavior skills and other
Management Development programs.
Rewards & RecognitionWe have robust Reward and Recognition schemes on an
organization wide basis that aim to recognize and

requirements. We have faster-growth policies that

faster in their respective careers. We have a robust
process of identifying hi-potential employees who
can be future leaders. They are taken through
Development centre which gives them an opportunity
to discover their potential. This plan is further
supported through a Mentorship Initiative for hi
pots - while all managers are expected to play a
proactive role in mentoring and coaching their
people, over and above this, we have also identified
some senior people who are capable people-managers
and role-models for others to support/ coach/ guide
our key resources in their need-based development.
Managing Work LifeAt Moser Baer Solar Limited, our constant effort is
to provide our employees a friendly and conducive
place to work where employees can be their own self.
The objective is to ensure that while people do some
serious work they also enjoy at the same time. We
celebrate all major festivals with our people; we
have various recreational activities to rejuvenate
them and have initiatives that involve people’s
families, like for instance, organizing family
visits to plants, rewarding employees’ children etc. |
